About this Act
Stone Cold Stumble is a four-piece band based in Cambridge who plays authentic Blues, Soul and Swing with attitude and panache. Eschewing the current vogue for over-driven guitars, over-loud amplifiers and over-long solos, the band focuses on the traditional essence of the music: rhythm, groove and subtle dynamics underpinned by heart and soul.
Mixing their own songs with classic Texas and West Coast blues, Motown and traditional R'n'B, Stone Cold Stumble delight in getting every audience up and dancing. They look smart and they sound sharp. And, apart from being first-class musicians, they also happen to be top blokes!
Together the musicians have nearly 200 years of combined musical experience and have either shared the stage with or recorded with some of leading Blues, Rock and Roots musicians on the planet.
