Zaramo

If you re looking for a ceilidh, barn dance with a difference then check out Zaramo World Music Dance and Ceilidh Band. The band's repertoire of traditional songs and tunes from the Balkans, Eastern Europe, Russia and a smattering of French Canadian enhance the circles, squares and longways sets of a traditional English ceilidh. All dances are called to ensure that everyone can join in. Zaramo can also offer simple or more complex Balkan dances (taught by their experienced caller) as part of the evening if required.

With a lineup of vocals, fiddle, clarinet, guitar and double bass, a strong, vibrant and exciting sound is created that invites the most reluctant of dancers onto the dance floor. The band can also provide a pianist or an accordionist for some events, if needed.

Zaramo's aim is to create a fun, enjoyable event that is inclusive of everyone regardless of age and dance experience. The band works closely with clients to tailor their performance to suit any event so that optimum satisfaction is reached.
