Groove Tube

Groove Tube are a 7-piece party covers band, performing an exciting mix of popular dance hits from the past 50 years including Motown, disco, soul, funk, and rock. The band can also provide an option of light jazz to start your event whilst you meet guests or dine (this can be a jazz duo of piano and sax, or a larger combination). And there is also the option for a disco service after the main band (playlisted hits through the bands fabulous sound system).

The band is fronted by a female singer with a great soulful voice. The male trumpet and sax players also take lead vocals on some songs and harmonised backing vocals on others. The remainder of the instruments are keys, drums, bass, and guitar.

The band offers two alternative sound systems. A smaller rig is available for indoor events with up to 100 guests and has the advantage of taking less space and is also cheaper. For larger events of up to 500 people, or outdoor gigs the band recommends their larger rig which includes live sound engineers to ensure the perfect mix throughout the evening.
