About this Act
Alan Green is a highly experienced solo guitarist, having performed in the UK, Germany and the USA, as well as with both the Essex and Cambridge Guitar Orchestra. He was also invited to work on two projects with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, one of which resulted in a World Premier performance in Essex for the Diamond Jubilee weekend.
Alan's Jazz guitar show is new for 2022 and comprises iconic standards from Hollywood's golden age. Got a soft spot for Ain't Misbehavin? You got it. I got Rhythm? You got it too. Somewhere Over The Rainbow? With or without the original introduction; your choise.
Alan's instrumental music for your event comprises the very best of light classics by Bach, Vivaldi and Leo Brouwer, major 20th-century movie themes, some flamenco and even a little bit of jazz. Special requests for your event? Songs by The Beatles have been incredibly popular previously, but give Alan time to get the music for your special tune and most things are possible,
