The Tomcats

A vibrant and energetic jazz quartet comprising of experienced professional musicians,playing a wide variety of their interpretations of jazz standards (swing, latin, bebop),cool jazz, The Great American Song Book, contemporary jazz and funk.

The Tomcats have played at many restaurants, bars and functions and have the ideal sound to make a great atmosphere at any function, event or party.

Tom Harker - Trumpet & vocals

Has been running jazz bands since a teenager one of which played in the Plymouth international jazz and blues festival, experienced in functions, has played in the Pendulum jazz orchestra and Devon youth jazz orchestra and won bursaries at Dartington International Summer School on courses with Keith Tippet and Herbie Flowers.

Paul Glover -Drums.

Paul's reputation as a solid, versatile and hard working drummer has brought him huge success, including international tours, major festival appearances and national radio and television appearances.Paul was a full time member of Pure Reason Revolution the progressive-electronic-rock outfit, touring the UK, Europe and the US and playing on two studio albums.Paul has recently been playing for Scroobius Pip, one of the UK’s leading spoken word/hip hop exponents and has enjoyed the success of sold out tours of the UK and Ireland, extensive European tours and highly anticipated appearances at some of the UK and Ireland’s largest festivals. Paul has had a life long passion for Jazz and regularly plays in various jazz groups.
