About this Act
Maracumbia is a tropical band whose name originates from the blending of maracuyá (passion fruit) and cumbia (easy dance rhythm from Colombia).
As in the blend of words, in Maracumbia the blend of musicians, instrumentation and rhythms creates a unique sound. The band aims to recreate the sound of traditional electric bands from the 1970s in Latin America. as well as some pop songs in their own style.
