London Strings

London Strings is the collaboration of professional musicians Arda Karakaya, violin, and Lucy Gijsbers, cello. The duo performs regularly at weddings, corporate events, parties, wedding proposals, private house concerts, and as recording artists. As well as traditional acoustic, they are also available to hire as a modern, electric violin and cello duo and have a selection of pop songs they perform with backing tracks.

The ensemble is also available as a string quartet, string trio or piano trio, and only collaborates with professional musicians of the highest caliber. The members of London Strings are top graduates from the Royal College of Music, and work regularly with top British and international orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Birmingham Royal Ballet, New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, and in famous concert halls including the Royal Albert Hall, Southbank Centre and Barbican Centre.

London Strings is happy to play any special requests not on their repertoire list, provided that the music is able to be sourced. One special request is available for free, any more requests many incur an extra fee. The only equipment not provided by London Strings will be chairs for the performers.
