About this Act
Foot Stompin' Ceilidh Band are a Glasgow based group, made up of award winning musicians. The band can provide a full range of ceilidh dances, pop and folk cover songs, a DJ set and can even provide a ceremonial piper. Each member of the band is an experienced dance caller and can ensure that everyone will be properly catered for at any event!
Our core members feature some of Scotland's finest musicians. Ross Miller (Pipes/Vocals) is a member of World Pipe Band Champions, Inverary and District, and is a finalist of the BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year. Robbie Mackenzie (Fiddle) is a graduate from the prestigious Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Craig Irving (Guitar) is a winner of both the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award and a Celtic Connections Danny Kyle Award.
