About this Act
The Striking Clock are an energetic and virtuosic trio, playing instrumental Celtic music. The bands original arrangements consist of traditional fiddle tunes accompanied by harmonious guitar and pounding double bass.
Born in Bristol, the band grew out of a thriving folk and jazz scene. All members are active musicians and entertaining and experienced performers.
Performing regularly, The Striking Clock have honed their craft in an array of environments. From corporate entertainment to wedding drinks to sweaty festival congregation, they've been there. The progressive and instrumental nature of their music makes it suitable as ambient background music or engaging entertainment. They band are experienced ceilidh and barn dance players and have a choice of charismatic dance callers on hand.
