About this Act
Playing Soul, Funk, Motown and contemporary pop repertoire from Stevie Wonder and Jackie Wilson all the way up to Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson, The Acetones have grown a large organic fan base and are the first band of choice for local events organisers for festivals and corporate occasions. they work with all of their clients to ensure a successful and smooth running event. If required, PA, lighting and interval music can be provided, leaving the client one less thing to worry about.
Based in Newark-On-Trent in the East midlands, the band have been performing together for 10 years, playing for countless weddings, corporate events and parties across the East Midlands. They are led by charismatic vocalist Michael, and also feature a 2 piece horn section for a huge live sound.
If you haven't seen The Acetones yet, the band are often to be found bringing the boogie in Newark live music venues such as 'The Ram' and 'The Flying Circus'.
