About this Act
The Decatur Street Trio are Rosie on vocals, Ben on double bass and James on keys and together they offer Jazz standards and Jazz covers of pop, rock and dance hits!
They can keep things strictly Jazz, with their take on tracks from Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Nina Simone and Nat King Cole. But if you'd like something a little different, they have a range of jazz covers of popular tunes - featuring songs from Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Spice Girls and Amy Winehouse to name a few.
Decatur Street Jazz's musicians play together and follow their own separate projects too and are privileged to have played in some of London's most prestigious Jazz venues -James and Ben have played at Ronnie Scott's, Ben at The Jazz Cafe and Rosie at the 100 Club. Their individual experiences as musicians give their work as Decatur Street Jazz it's unique sound - something for true music lovers!
With a flexible attitude toward bookings and professional know-how, Decatur Street Jazz offers various performance options and line ups to help perfect your celebration. Are you looking for a set of smooth melodies to entertain the guests during a drinks reception and add some ambience to your sit-down dinner? A ballad to accompany you down the aisle? A tune or ten to warm everyone up for dancing? Decatur Street Jazz can offer you all of these, just mix and match from our standard performance times, or get in touch with us to arrange a custom booking!
As a professional act, they come with top of the range equipment and different PAs to suit your individual event, be that an intimate birthday party with 30 guests, or a Gala dinner with 400 guests! They can also provide additional PA equipment and sound engineer for larger events upon request.
