The recruitment drive continues unabated at Freak Towers with more and more diverse styles of acts seeking our representation on the roster. We’re closing in on a whopping 1500 acts with live profiles and aim to hit that number before 2016, so if you are in or know of a band or act that would like to get signed up then please go here and fill in the form and we’ll get back to you.

Unsurprisingly, our main bread and butter is the wedding bands and acts part of the industry, and here’s a random selection of recent worthy additions to that list.

Ida Bloom (below right) was brought up in the Cheviot Hills and as a shepherd’s daughter, she was shy and retiring but bursting to come out of her shell into the theatrical sexy diva who will grace the stage for you today.

She’ll find a song that nobody has heard of or has forgotten many years ago, one that you would wonder why it was never been a hit before and have you bopping on the dance floor to it as if you know it and always loved it. So if you’re looking for the standard run of the mill routine this is not the act for you. Expect something different, quirky, maybe a bit of Post Modern Juke Box style which is if you have not heard of this band, are the current famous creators of modern songs turned into something from 1940’s/50’s. She is also influenced by Imelda May, Boz Scags, Caro

Emerald, Bull Moose Jackson, Beth Heart, Lavern Baker..to name but a few.
