
Liverpool, along with its noisy neighbour Manchester is steeped in music lore. Even after the Beatles split in 1970, the city continued to produce some great bands, some of which are still touring, although they sometimes don’t appear to be too happy about it. This scene has helped bolster the Liverpool wedding band scene too and there’s a decent variety of acts to choose from too. Unsurprisingly , most of them play Beatles’ songs, it’s probably a law. Sugarman (above) are a 7 piece party function band that has been entertaining crowds for over six years. The band plays R+B, soul, and pop from the classic period to the modern day. The band is led by the soulful vocals of Stuart Nicholls and his energy, infectious personality and incredible vocal ability are sure to get any party in the mood.
The Capone Band are a professional and very slick party, function, corporate & wedding band from the North West. They comprise of the highest quality musicians and specialise in the wide ranging genres of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Motown, Soul, Funk, Jazz, Disco and Pop. Formed in 2006 the band have played countless corporate events from weddings, private parties, conferences, award ceremonies, galas, sporting events, university gigs & even 5 star holiday resorts.
