Daccordianna's original compositions will get you clapping your hands, tapping your feet and smiling at the songs detailing the trials and tribulations of life, love and the universe.

Formed in 2009 Daccordianna consists of the lead singer and accordion player Anna Ross, 'The Fox' on fiddle, mandolin, guitar and banjo when and where required, Francesca on double bass, Ms Mather on backing vocalsand Mr Molleson on drums. Together they entertain you with songs spanning many genres from funk to folk, blues to balkan gypsy and back again. They will get you dancing your feet away with their upbeat dark lyrical stories, laughing at life and reflecting on sorrow.

They have been described as 'Marianne Faithful does Fiddler on the Roof', ' with the sound of 'accordion heavy funky folky Americana' (The List) and 'gypsy folk with a heady dose of banjo and accordion' (The Skinny). Having played the festival scene in the summer of 2010 they went on to record their debut EP 'Prelude' and have been busy playing the Scottish festivals such as Eden festival this year as well as a selection of smaller venues in and around Edinburgh. Abel to morph from a bluesy soft vibe of a 3 piece, to a large all encompassing sound of 5 piece, Daccordianna can tailor their set list and costume style to suit many moods and appetites. However, they will always come with their own brand of Uniqueness!

If you like your folk fused with pop and originality then Daccordianna will float your boat and are flexible enough to accommodate many different kinds of events.

Where are they based?

Daccordianna are based in Edinburgh and regularly play within Edinburgh City centre and the cetral belt of Scotland. We are flexible and can play anywhere in the UK provided travel costs are covered.
