About

Cruachan are an exciting band of young musicians from the North – East of Scotland. A creative and lively band with traditional and innovative style they have experience in dealing with a range of functions and entertainment specifically tailored to suit your needs.

The band specializes in Scottish traditional music including ceilidhs, background music, and combinations of fiddle, piping, piano and singing to suit your specific need. Wedding ceremonies, dances and corporate functions as well as those private parties can all be catered for.

With four members of the band being asked to play at the prestigious Glenfiddich fiddle competition, a BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year finalist, and students of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland you can be reassured that the quality of musicianship is of the highest standard.

Previous clientele include the likes of Chivas Regal, supporting the Red Hot Chilli Pipers, Total and individual referrals. Be assured that you are in safe hands no matter what your event may be.

Where are they based?

The band are based in Aberdeen, and have played all over the North East of Scotland. The band are willing to travel throughout Scotland (and possibly further afield on request).
